As you know, the power of the internet, or the world wide web (www) enables you to communicate faster, to collaborate better, to use software solutions that are improving your company’s productivity, day in and day out. To use the new marketing strategies that the new media is putting on the table.
And with this change (internet being the constant change in the past 20 years in our lives) also comes huge opportunity, opportunity that is followed by changes in all the worlds industries, especially the ones that cannot quickly adapt to the new realities.
I’ll try to exemplify below how a consulting company was able to improve by more than 200% the efficiency of a real estate company (where a lot of realtors were working, especially realtors that have not wished to adapt to the online world realities).
So… this real estate company was selling condos, apartments, houses from a couple of constructions companies, and they had huge issues with the fact that a lot of time was lost by each realtor with the visits that potential buyers were doing to each apartment without buying anything – which in fact meant list time, lost money and a lot of frustration. Now, this is a typical (in fact the most typical) example of how the online media and the software industry can help.
Starting from the CRM that was implemented in order to see where the hours of each employee were spent, that told the consultancy company that they were spending a lot of time with potential clients and up to the software company that developed the virtual tour platform (tour wizard – that really helped them to solve the issues with visitors that were not converted into buyers) I have to say that all the necessary info was online – every single piece of information was on the internet, for everyone to see and to consider, to evaluate.
