An exciting thing to know about the Galaxy J2 is that it has been developed in Samsung India’s R&D facility. Another exciting feature that was announced at the launch event is the Ultra Data Saving mode. This mode is powered by Opera Max which enables users to restrict individual apps from using the mobile data. This optimization helps in data saving as well as reduces the RAM utilization by 11% as claimed by Samsung.
The Samsung Galaxy J2 is quite rich in features as well. The 4.7-inch qHD (540×960 pixels) Super Amoled display is quite vibrant. A 1.3GHz quad-core Exynos 3475 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM powers the Smartphone. You get 8GB of internal storage which is expandable upto 128GB via a microSD card.
Of course, you get the TouchWiz UI on top of the Android 5.1 Lollipop on the Galaxy J2. The 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash is quite decent for taking snaps. You also get a 2-megapixel front camera for your selfie needs. The Smartphone supports dual-SIM as well.
